Remember how it used to be amazing to wonder what it would be like to have enough money to buy a professional sports team? Well, the bar has been raised. Now you need to set your sights on the entire league. Bain Capital Partners LLC and Game Plan International, two companies from boston made an offer to buy the entire NHL for $3.5B.
